Original British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1951 Douglas Sirk Mystery BONAVENTURE, based on the play "Bonaventure" by Charlotte Hastings and starring Claudette Colbert, Ann Blyth, Anne Crawford, Robert Douglas, Philip Friend, Gladys Cooper, Michael Pate and John Abbott.
Convicted murderess Valerie Carns (Ann Blyth) is being transported to Norwich to be executed when a flood strands her and her guards at a convent hospital. Nurse Sister Mary (Claudette Colbert) becomes convinced of her innocence and sets out to find the real killer.
