Various artists - DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON STL-45 - “Beethoven Bicentennial Collection - Music for the Stage - Volume V”. The records are in near mint condition except for several rows of tiny marks that cause some medium noise in a few revolutions. The slipcase box is excellent except for a tiny flaw and minor wear. Comes with a booklet. Works here include: Fidelio (5sides), the Ruins of Athens, Op, 113 / The Creatures of Prometheus, Op. 43 (2 sides), An die ferne Geliebte / Gellert Lieder (1 side), Music to Goethe’s Tragedy ‘Egmont’, Op. 84 2(sides). Numerous vocalists and several orchestras conducted by Böhm, Klee and Karajan. A 5-LP boxed set.
