The book measures approx 14.5cm by 21cm and contains 424 deckle edged pages with eleven illustrations by Paul Hardy and Walter Paget (the original illustrator of Sherlock Holmes in the Strand magazine), including a frontis and illustrated title.
There is an preface before the text and appendix and notes to the rear.
The book is complete and collated.
There is some light foxing around the half title, very occasional spots within the text and closed fore edge.
The spine fascia has some light sun fading, top board has an edge knock, else very good throughout.
