The Neo/SCI 13-1411 Biosphere CD-ROM is computer-based exercises on the interactions between life forms and environments for students in grades 7-10, and includes variable changes to the needs of heterotrophs and autotrophs, herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores, and carbon and water cycles, and hundreds of experiments that generate both qualitative and quantitative results. This software provides simulated biosphere experiments. Activities include variable changes and results viewing.
The Neo/SCI Biosphere software is compatible with Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista, and Mac OS 7.0, 8.1, 9.2, or OS X.

The Biosphere is a powerful experimental tool designed to allow the experimenter to investigate a range of interactions between critters and their environments.
The Biosphere is essentially a closed system. Radiant energy is the only external input to the biosphere. Heat energy is the only output. These are in equilibrium (i.e. radiant energy in = heat out).
The Biosphere has much to offer ranging from the investigation of key cycles (e.g.. Water and Carbon cycles) to detailed analysis of ecosystems.
Explore, investigate and experiment. The Biosphere is your laboratory. Enjoy your visit.
The CD package weighs 58 grams and measures 14.2 X 12.5 X .4 cm. This will ship Letter Mail, in a padded envelope, in Canada. All other countries will be shipped via parcel post in a padded envelope.
Shipping weight will be 90 grams.
