Original 1950 British 17 inch x 11 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1948 Vittorio De SicaItalian Neo-Realist Drama BICYCLE THIEVES (LADRI DI BICICLETTE), based on the novel by Luigi Bartolini and starring Lamberto Maggiorani, Enzo Staiola, Lianella Carell, Gino Saltamerenda and Vittorio Antonucci.

The 1948 best foreign film Oscar went to de Sica’s classic of neo-realism about an unemployed Italian worker (Maggiorani) who’s robbed of the bike he needs for his new job as a billsticker. He and his little boy (Staiola) spend the day searching.

The Advertisement is in very good condition with a vertical centre fold.
