Classic Car renovation time is here again and during preparation it’s the small things that let you down later. After many years loyal service those battery terminals start give you poor contact because of battery differential metal corrosion, or because you have bought a modern commercial lead and it has not been assembled with the same care that you would take yourself. 

Having a dig around in the shed and along side a whole pile of aging car small consumables  we have found these battery terminals of the style that would have been fitted to British cars before 1975.

PLEASE NOTE These Terminals Fit 12 Volt Batteries  - Not 6 Volt

They are tin dipped brass and very heavy.  + or - is marked on the terminal, please see the Pictures. The battery post clamping bolts and cable contact bolts are steel.  The cable entry size is 9mm or 3/8 inch, if you prefer old money measurements.
