Classic Car renovation time is here again and during the preparation it’s the small things that can be a real pain to find, especially original vintage parts. We decided to mount yet another ripping expedition to the back of our stores, armed with the dog, galoshes, a strong flashlight and lashings of ginger beer !

This time the flashlight alighted on something gleaming at the back of a shelf, a small pile of heavy duty reflecting plates.

What can I use these for?

They are ideal for the insides of doors so that in dark places an oncoming car will see the reflection in its headlights when a door is opened - stay safe at night.

These reflectors are typically put on the rear of lorry and tractor trailers.

 A much better use is to mount them on obstacles to avoid crashing your precious car into it. I have seen these put on trees, gate entrances ( so you and others know where you live, low garden walls and on gates. ( I could tell you about somebody who swung into his big drive at night with his Jensen CV8 and managed to put the front of the car into the black painted drive gate - another time) and at the back of a garage.

This sale is for two tough White reflecting plates, with minor marks, of the type shown in the picture.
