1949 £1 [SG178a] Robe Thin Paper IMPRINT BLOCK of 4, in very fine mint unhinged condition.
Only 160,000 were ever printed in just a single printing, of the £1 1949 "Thin" paper - versus 1,920,000 of the "Thick Paper" (Chalky surfaced) issue of 1937. A well written article written on this issue dated back February 2014.. Happy reading.
