Seller's Description
A Walther "Luxor" centrepiece bowl made in green glass. The textured area, base rising to a cruciform pattern, is frosted. The swags that form the wide rim are unfrosted green glass.
A large, spectacular piece spoilt slightly by not being quite "square". Although it looks to be seriously "out" in photo 3, when in situ for use or display is not so noticable.
No chips or cracks, light surface marking to the upper rim from age and use. Several pin-head size black inclusions to rim, probably fragments of metal from the mould.
Luxor vases and bowls are reasonably easy to find, but I have never seen another centrepiece bowl, with a wide flattened rim offered for sale.

Rim dia. 17.0cms (approx).
Base dia. 11.0cms.
