Seller's Description
A shallow bowl or charger made by Joblin in pale green Uranium glass
with sea-weed and air bubbles motif moulded to the underside.
The upper surface is polished, the underside frosted,
with clear glass inside the base rim.
Glows well under UV light.
This was produced in 1935 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V and
originally the clear base had a glued-on paper portrait of either the King or Queen Mary.
Very hard to find, almost impossible with an original portrait.
Was probably a limited edition at the time and now is a real rarity.
No chips or cracks, some light surface scratches due to age and use.
