Seller's Description

A frosted Amber glass Centre Vase made by Bagley.

Originally part of a three piece mantlepiece garniture.

Launched in 1934 along with the more popular "Grantham" pattern number 334.

This pattern never became as popular and was soon discontinued.

It is much harder to find, particularly as this example includes its original stem holder insert.

In good condition for its age with no serious damage.

It does have two tiny chips to corners of the bottom step of the base.

Plus another to the rim and several flea-bites to the base rim.

The insert has some chipping to the lower edge as is usual with these inserts.

An impressive piece with some rarity.

Height.   8.0 inches  (20cms approx.)

Max width.   6.0 inches  (15.5cms approx)

Weight.   1.3K without packaging.

Will you accept offer?

Sorry but no, these are quite difficult to find. Their companions with only one side "wing" are easier to find as there were twice as many made.

Hi Dave, I just bought your two items (two pots and one flower trough). Will you offer me a deal on this? This has been listed here from Dec. 2019. It is time to get it moving. Take care, Peter

Hi, I just tried to find one of these on ebay and etsy but couldn't. The last time I saw one on ebay it was £45 and didn't have its frog (as mine does). All things considered, I think £30 is not unreasonable, so no I cannot offer you a deal. Kind regards, Dave.

Hi Dave, eBay or Etsy charge loads of fees, but not here. That’s why I am asking you consider my customer. I am not in a rush to get my orders, please take your time. Kind regards, Peter

I understand that, that's why I'm able to offer this item at a price 1/3rd less than the last one I saw for sale. These are hard to find (and getting harder). Here's an offer :). If you can show me another one for sale on-line, in the UK, for less, I'll think about reducing my price even further than I have already :) Kind regards, Dave.
Question From artdecoglass [+11]

Hi Dave, If your vase is frosted green or uranium, I will buy it. But your colour is not green or uranium. So unless you can offer me free shipping, I will not be very interested to get it. I collect uranium glass. Cheers, Peter

Good morning, I'm very sorry but I can't budge on this one. If you're interested in Uranium glass have you looked at the 2 Stolzle Uranium vases I have listed? I also have a Stolzle "Rocket" vase (similar to the Amber one already listed) in Uranium that I could list @£12 + £3 P&P. I also Have a Walther "Luxor" bowl I could list @£15 + £3 but that has a chip to the rim. Or I could list a Bagley "State" powder bowl for £10 + £3 if that is of interest. Dave.

Have you dispatched my orders? Please let me have the tracking info. I got an 8” frosted green Grantham vase. Thanks for your other offers, but I guess I am done here. This place is so quiet.

Good evening, your order was dispatched at 9:46 yesterday. To find the reference number go to your purchase. Click on it and the ASL (After Sale Log) will display. Glad you found a green Grantham vase. Some collectors like to use an 8" and two 6" as a mantlepiece garniture. Thanks again for your purchases. Kind regards, Dave.
