Original 1927 8 7/8 inch x 6 7/8 inch Paramount Photogravure Portrait of ARLETTE MARCHAL.

Arlette Marchal was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Marchal's career beginnings included film roles in "Diplomacy" (1926) and "The Cat's Pajamas" (1926). Marchal then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "A Gentleman of Paris" (1927), "Blonde or Brunette" (1927) and "Hula" (1927). She also appeared in "Wings" (1927) with Clara Bow. Later in her career, Marchal acted in "Entente Cordiale" (1939). Marchal passed away in February 1984 at the age of 82.

Photo by Gaston and Lucien Manuel. In 1900, Lucien Manuel opened a portrait studio in Paris with his brother Gaston, which specialised in portrait photography.

The overall print size is 12 1/4 inch x 8 1/2 inch.

The portrait is in fine condition.
