We select our Aquamarine slightly on the lighter side. This is a cost factor. We can easily get darker Aqua's for you; the price jumps sharply, though. We tend to practical, and these Aquamarines are decent, just not dark. Oh, and it's a LOT more durable too. Nothing gives you a bad day worse than your $1,000/ct natural opal getting cracked up the middle just 'cause you wore it on a cold day. That won't happen with this material. Very durable, and if there's a problem, very inexpensive. In plain English, this is simply a very pretty stone, and it's well mounted in this Sterling Silver ring. Gives me goosebumps just to look at it. The ring is has a nice offset design accented by two accent CZs. Good for the office, for the evening, or just because.
