Apache Sage Rhyolite Cabochon: Gorgeous Dendritic Tree Pattern in Mauve; 45 cts

An elegant rectangular cabochon of Apache Sage rhyolite (sometimes sold as Mimbres Valley jasper). This piece is very scenic with a contorted bush on a bouldered hill against a striated sky. It is all in shades of mauve, from deep near-black to almost pink with a touch of near-white that really makes the dendritic sagebrush stand out (almost like the sun is setting behind it). This is going to look super in a pendant or other setting.

The photos were taken with the material dry under natural sunlight. The piece comes in the acrylic gem container as shown.
