The book is a faithful reproduction of the original Wycliffe Bible, circa 1410.
The book measures approx, 15.5cm by 20.7cm with 38 woodcut illustrations.
Unpaginated, red topped, deckle edged pages.
Tight text with hand made laid paper from Holland designed to imitate the original fifteenth century paper stock.
Pages have some edge toning, occasional dampstaining to fore edge margins and foxing on the endpapers, else very good.
The highly decorated vellum binding has a red stain on the reverse and the top joint has a 5.5cm split to the top.
The original brass clasps are still present and work well.
