Antique Steel Alphabet Punch Set. In fabulous condition. Has the name Emil Moeckel stamped on the wooden box lid. In researching this name, I came across an inventor from Germany who filed a patent in the United States for a Playing Card cleaning machine. This set of punch tools came from a close friend, who's mother was German and immigrated to the USA after the war.
I don't know if there is a connection between my friend's mother and this German inventor, but it does titillate the imagination, doesn't it?
This set is quite heavy and in great used condition.
