8 x antique silver-plated tablespoons by Potter of Sheffield
I can’t identify the pattern of these eight vintage, quality, silver-plated tablespoons, but it is simple and stylish.
The maker’s name of ‘Potter’ and ‘Sheffield’ appears on the back of six of them. The maker’s mark on one other is 'D(S) Ltd/EPNS', while another has the mark 'JD&S/EP' (the EP in both of these stands for electro-plated, the method by which silver plating is acheived).
Presumably they were made at different times under different company names, but they are all identical in other regards.
The plating is in very good condition, unscratched and unworn, although there is a little pitting mark on the back of one of the handles (shown in the photographs).
Each spoons weighs 65g and measure 8 inches in length.
