The book measures approx; 14.5cm X 20cm and contains 437 marble edged pages with two, open out maps an illustrated frontis and many more B&W illustrations within the text.
The book is collated and complete.
Internally, the text block is tightly bound and in a near fine condition.
Previous owners book plate on front pastedown.
Sadly, the top board, with endpaper still affixed is detached from the binding
The rest of the fine, tree calf binding is in a good general condition with a little edge wear and bumping to the corners.
The rear hinge joint is just starting with a little cracking at the head.
