Antique Early & Rare J. Crompton Ginger Beer Stoneware Bottle By Pearson & Co

A lovely salt glazed ginger beer bottle from the firm J. Crampton who I believe were bottling spring water and brewing ginger beer in Sawston, Cambridgeshire. This is one of the earliest bottles c. 1890's which were then followed by a white glazed bottle and then the more common two tone glaze. The bottle was made by Pearson & Co of Whitlington Moor, Chesterfield. Slight nibbles around the shoulder rim, please see photos, otherwise in good condition. Height 17.5cms, width 2.5cms, width at base 5.5cms.
