Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1953 Otto Preminger Film Noir ANGEL FACE, based on the story by Chester Erskine and starring Robert Mitchum, Jean Simmons, Mona Freeman, Herbert Marshall, Leon Ames, Barbara O'Neil, Kenneth Tobey and Jim Backus.
Angel Face is a ferocious, delirious, captivating melodrama with an outrageously malicious Simmons, a spoiled, sheltered rich girl with a murderous and pointed need to get whatever she wants. A classic femme fatale. Preminger's 1952 film is a much darker work than earlier 40s noirs, as Simmons turns out to be a complete psychopath, an "angel of death".
