BBF* This beautiful rarely found and most specialist modern origin quirky postcard is a unique and wonderful souvenir to Althea Neale Gibson who was an American tennis player and professional golfer, and one of the first Black athletes to cross the color line of international tennis. In 1956, she became the first African American to win a Grand Slam title. The souvenir is a stunning contemporary animated painting of her and reverse has statistics including her birthday etc together with one of her most memorable quotes unused in brand new mint condition.
