Cross-Cut Angle Sled Jig
Having problems in achieving consistent angle cutting accuracy, then this jig will solve those problems. This is another addition to our range of jigs for the Proxxon Hot Wire Cutter. This precision laser cut jig is a direct replacement for the one that is supplied with the cutter. It features a lockable rotational element for accurate angles, and for repeatable cuts there is a sliding end stop, which locks onto the guide rail.
The unit is made from 6mm and 4mm quality Medite Premier MDF for structural strength and stability. The cutting face and rotating surfaces have been sealed and lacquered for ease of use and lasting protection (finished model only).
This jig can be supplied in either of 3 options - as a fully completed unit, pre-finished or as a kit of parts for self assembly and finishing. The fully assembled version comes with the parts sanded and the working surfaces sealed and lacquered. The pre-finished kit comes with the parts sanded and/or masking tape applied to protect from marking by the laser. With the kit option, the parts are supplied straight from the laser cutter with no finishing or colouring.
The kits will require pva glue to assemble (not supplied).
