This is a miniature 250K Ohm Logarithmic (audio taper A250K) potentiometer with a split / splined shaft suitable for use for Fender Stratocaster guitars (but note that some genuine Fenders will have Imperial threaded 3/8" pots fitted, with slightly larger mounting holes and of course different knob sizes) and for other guitars with single coil pickups where space in the guitars wooden cavity for controls is very limited, designed to be mounted on a plastic or metal plate.

Please note that current stock does NOT have the small locating tab on the front face of the pot.

Please note that some Strats/Strat copies may be fitted with humbucker double coils which would suit a 500K pot better.... if in doubt about your guitar, check before ordering!

 

This pot has a 16.5mm diameter body and a short shaft (15mm total including thread, threaded part is 6mm in length, allowing a mounting plate thickness of approx 4mm maximum. The splined split shaft will accept any standard guitar knob such as those on our other listings. Please note that this pot is not suitable for mounting in wood fronted cavities such as that in a Les Paul, as these require a longer mounting shaft. £1 coin shown for size comparison purposes and not included!

Lastly, all please note that when asks you "Did the item arrive on or before" their estimated delivery date, it also damages our seller rating if you answer "No", so bear in mind that we always ship within two working days, so if you answer "No" because your local postal service (especially in Italy!) has taken weeks to deliver, you are punishing us, not them!
