Published by J. Welch & Sons, Portsmouth, not numbered.

Postally used on 2 January 1923 with Bournemouth cancellation and British Empire Exhibition 1924 slogan postmark on red one penny stamp and sent to Lady Alabaster, Dil Aram, Sea Road, Boscombe, Hampshire. Dame Laura Alabaster was the wife of Sir Chaloner Grenville Alabaster KCMG (1838-1898), a former Consul General in China.

Very good condition, with very slight corner bumps.
