HISTORY FROM THE SOURCES - This series  aims to make more widely available fundamental source material for British history, usually giving both original text and new translation. The first group of sources, currently in progress, will range from the late translatio. The first group of sourcesd, cuyrrently in progress, will range from late Roman Empire, through the Dark Ages, to the early medieval period, and include Gildas, Nennius, St patrick and Arthurian Sources.

DOMESDAY BOOK SERIES - The Domesday survey was arranged by counties, or  shires, and so is the present edition. These are the ancient counties that survived with little change until 1974. other counties will be published, parallel to this present volume, at about twelve each year between 975 and 1979. a prospectus leaflet will be supplied on request to the publisher giving details, as available, on order of publication and current prices.
