“As an inventor of fragrances, I feel very comfortable working with citrus notes, so, for this composition, I wanted to express my deep love for citrus through an extremely intricate top note that can be described as an anamorphosis of hesperidic notes: the spike of lemons, the elegance of bergamots, the sweetness of oranges, the floral notes of mandarins, the fruitiness of tangerines, all together working in unison.

Also, I always perceive a hint of iris notes (irones) in certain kinds of Mediterranean oranges and that thought took me to anchor this scent with the real deal: ultra pure iris absolute from Florence, bolstered with the best quality vetiver essence. This scent has become one I wear very frequently. I hope you become an addict as well!"

Perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux is a lover of Caravaggio's paintings, works of art that stimulate your imagination with their dark and dramatic compositions. Standing in front of the artist's work, you may ask yourself if this painting was a perfume, how would it smell? More Is More is a scented portrait of what Flores-Roux had in mind when admiring a Caravaggio. An ominous chiaroscuro, light and darkness in an echo, two opposing strengths creating both a contrast and a harmony, feminine and masculine dancing with each other to the beat of a drum or the soft crackle of embers. It is the odour and the image of black paint dripping on a canvas but also of the faceted shine of a diamond parure worn over a black leather garment. This perfume is a real tour de force that starts out with top notes of French clary sage essence, Indian davana essence and Chinese osmanthus absolute. A heart of Bulgarian rose water extract, Italian broom flower absolute and a black leather accord gives way to a dry-down of ambrette seed absolute from Martinique, vetiver essence and patchouli essence that rounds out this unisex Woody-Floral-Leathery eau de parfum.

AQUAFORTIS, BEHIND THE NAME
Francisco's briefing for this perfume was clear: a fresh perfume of structure but with a lot of strength and permanence on skin. A perfume for those who love Mediterranean perfumes based on bergamot, lemon, petitgrain and the usual suspects, but who want to feel the perfume on the skin for the whole day and not just a few hours. The working name of the perfumer was "Agua Alegre”, which means “Joyful Water" in English, so having got a very powerful perfume, they gave it the name "Strong Water".  AQUAFORTIS is the Latin translation of that name.

HOW TO USE
Like any fragrance, use one or two sprays around your neck and on your pulse points from a minimum distance of 6 inches, then allow to dry without rubbing.
