Seven Cities of Gold - This Mexican legend tells of the Spanish conquistador. Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca (translation: Alvin Cowhead) who came looking or the Seven Cities of gold. The conquistadors found gold but learned the hard way that "Greed is a vice of great weight." Their overloaded boat cracked, split in half and sank to the bottom of Lake Champala under the weight of too much gold.
