Detailed Condtion : New
Australian Turquoise is very rare and only found in bits and pieces, here and there, and in various qualities.
Our Turquoise ("TurqOZ") used in these bracelets were dug out of the ground in Central Australia half a Century ago.
The mining company that extracted this Turquoise is possible the only mining company that has ever mined Turquoise on a commercial scale in Australia.
The mining company had to seize it's mining operations as it was approaching an Aboriginal sacred site, but the mine had just run out of Turquoise, anyway.
The stock of rough on hand, at the time of closing the mine, was bought and temporarily stored away.
A rather better description would perhaps be; stored away, out of sight and out of mind... and forgotten!
That was until it was "re-discovered" and "dug out of it's storage" for to be cut into Cabochon cut Gemstones... about 50 years later!
In case of use as Bridesmaids' jewellery; a number of other designs are available in quantities and also with matching Earrings, Necklaces and Pendants.
This line of Australian Made Jewellery made with Swarovski Rhinestones can also be supplied set with Australian Opal.
This Rhinestone set Jewellery range can also be supplied unset, without Turquoise.
If so, the stones required for this bracelet are 7 pieces 4 mm Round stones which are simply glued into the cups.
