Her we have an early shot of ‘Ocean Swell’ she was a Thompson design introduced 1946. based
on the earlier Class A2 but fitted with a 250lb sq.in boiler. The Thompson Pacifics all featured
a chassis which positioned the cylinders unusually between the rear bogie wheel and the
front driving wheel
