• Condition: Used  - two disks provided. Disk 2 contains episodes 8-12 and Extras. This has been checked and disk works OK with no dropouts as the seller watched the entire disk to be sure, before putting it up for sale. No scratches on disk. Disk 1, containing episodes 1-7 does not load or work and the rear side of the disk appears to have some fading in places possibly through exposure to sunlight? The price of this item reflects the fact that only disk 2 works.
• General comments: Horrible Histories was a BBC TV Children’s series that started in 2009. The roots of some of this comedy come from Monty Python and Black Adder. This is series 3, aired in 2011. It was based on Terry Deary’s highly successful book series. Included are: The Sufragett’s Song, Tabellarii messenger service, numerous pet-shop sketches, Historical Master Chef sketches, Stone Age Dragon’s Den, the Strasbourg dance fever and many more. Extra include the Monarch’s song, some out-takes, and some extra scenes that never made it onto series 3. Before you buy, please note again that this is only episodes 8-12, because the disk with episodes 1-7 does not load/want to work - its only been included in case you can find a way to make it work again. Nevertheless you will find enough to laugh and learn from the approx. 1.5 hours of entertainment on disk 2 (episodes 8-12 + extras) to keep you happy.
