Tomb Raider Anniversary for Nintendo Wii brings back the iconic Lara Croft in a special edition that allows players to interact like never before thanks to the Nintendo Wii game system. In this platform Wii game, Lara is hired to retrieve the Scion, an ancient and mysterious artifact. After discovering that she is a pawn in a much bigger plan, Lara decides to solve the mystery of the artifact for herself. The Tomb Raider Anniversary Wii version features new puzzles and an archeology tool kit that has the player use the Nintendo Wii game remote to draw, dig, and chisel through layers of soil searching for clues. In fact, Nintendo’s game remote technology opens up an engaging variety of gameplay options in a platform Wii game; use the remote like a flashlight to see in the dark, use the nunchuck and remote to climb cliffs, and use the remote to aim and fire Lara’s weapon. Though much of the gameplay re-visits sites that were in the original game, because of the new way of interacting in the Tomb Raider Anniversary Wii version it’s like experiencing it all for the very first time.
