Explosive action, high-tech gadgets and amazing stunts are all packed into this modern-day version of THE AVENGERS, Steed and Mrs Peel are pitted against the devilishly clever and completely evil Sir August De Wynter. steed has been called by The Ministey, Britain;s ultra-top-secret agency, to investigate some very strange goings-on in Her Majesty's kingdom. The weather seems out of control - even for England  - and all bets are on former Ministry man Sir August de Wynter being behind this. Along with the unflappable, leather-clad Mrs. peel, the dry-witted and Sexy Steed prepares to fight fire (or snow or hail) with fire Steed and Peel are here for a new age of cool...saving the world in style!

this was hoped to be the first in a new movie franchise with top stars Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman playing Steed and Mrs Peel and an all-star guest cast of sean Connery, Eddie Izzard and Jim Broadbent. Unfoirtunatel despite the millions obviously spent on the project the makers got the tone completely wrong, thus killing the franchise before it had even begone.

But for AVENGERS fans it is a footnote to the much-loved series and as such this is a highly collectable item.
