Laptop with very unique setup.
3 systems+easy "one click" recovery: Linux Mint, Win10, Win7, and recovery option for every system, it means that you don't need IT person to clean up your system anymore, you don't need to have any skills to clean/recover this laptop to original state, I wrote algorithms which will do all cleaning/recovery jobs by one button.
This unit life expectation is very long due to fact that is trouble free platform:
NO dedicated GPU Nvidia/Ati
NO BGA permanent CPU
NO BGA permanent RAM
NO thermal issues
...
NO PROBLEM.
Best way is to purchase laptop without common issues and keep it for a lot longer...
What's Clevo?
In my opinion this is very good, but not popular brand, good quality motherboard makes it really good platform + very easy access to CPU, just 4screws to remove
CPU cover which is unusual for laptops/notebooks. CPU is in socket so upgradeable up to i7 in the future.
What makes it so unique?:
1. systems+recovery which is described in here.
2. mouse pad has separate buttons which is hard to get in modern platforms, personally I don't like sealed touchpad without separate buttons,
due to fact that's so hard to operate, so easy to press wrong thing or move mouse cursor while pressing touch panel... This laptop has still touch panel with two separate buttons on the bottom which makes job a lot easier in my opinion.
3. MATT (non gloss) LED screen, very comfortable during day as no screen mirroring effects, easy to read even in sunny days.
4. Separate keyboard keys - makes easy to type in without mistakes
5. Additional numeric keys on the right side - makes easy to work with figures
Feed up with Windows problems like viruses, trojans etc? Maybe this is time to try something else --> Linux Mint? What if You not enjoy it?
You can stick back to Windows 10 or 7 then, as having many choices in one single unit that's main thing.
Average cosmetically condition. This laptop has light scratches on plastics and screen.

Comes with free genuine Linux Mint 20 operating system and licensed genuine Windows 10 and licensed genuine Windows 7.
Laptop has nice speed and looks very nice (apart of some scratches).
Serviced by cleaning internal FAN, heatsink and replacing CPU thermal compound paste for Arctic Silver 5 to keep it cool and in good technical condition.
Something new? Main advantages of installed Linux Mint:
- Linux Mint works very fast on this machine.
- looks nice and is fully customizable
- built in live scanner on right side of desktop shows live internet data consumption/speed which is nice to know, memory consumption, temperatures etc
- comes as a default with Firefox web browser, basic office software
- less Trojans/Viruses exists for Linux than for other operating systems, break in is nearly impossible due to so good firewall.
Recovery option:
while booting up You will see few options: default to start up Linux Mint operating system, or Windows operating system,
and another option to recover Your system to a "day zero". So no worries about rubbish in the system etc, as You can recover it easily back to original state,
fully automated one click operation.
Regarding Windows: This is genuine licensed operating system, Windows7 originally was there as a first system, which was upgraded later to Windows10 under same license, so currently
Windows10 is active, if You wish to switch to older Windows 7, then just click on "Recover win7" in boot menu which will be always displayed
for 10secs while turning ON laptop, if You would like go then again from windows7 to windows10, then press to recover win10, fully automated operations,
it will bring back
Your system in to "day zero" so basically You don't need go to IT person for any system checks, You can backup Your important data in to USB pendrive and recover
any system in to "day zero" by pressing one single button. I'm qualified IT Tech and Electronics Mechanic person, I work with passion to electronics, I implemented these option with care to make it smooth and
easy to use. I always pay attention to details while implementing any software.
This is good laptop for someone who is looking for device to make ordinary jobs like web browsing, YouTube, movies, email, documents... WHO DO NOT WANT SPEND MUCH TIME FOR WAITING...as it works really quick for above tasks.
Thinking about very minor details: DVD unit firmware was upgraded to the latest version, so bugs eliminated regarding some CD/DVD discs incompatibility.
