What does Celtic forte contain?
One capsule contains:

How can Celtic forte help?
Celtic forte contains the nutrients uridinemonophosphate, vitamin B12 and folic acid, which can support the body's self-healing processes.

Uridinemonophosphate (UMF) is the most important intermediate in the biosynthesis of pyrimidine nucleotides, which in the form of uridine- and cytidine-triphosphates are coenzymes in a number of processes leading to the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, svingomyelin and other lipids, as well as glycoproteins. These compounds are the main structural elements of cell membranes and are therefore of great importance for the proper functioning of nerve tissue. Since due to a lack of appropriate enzymes, nerve cells are the only ones in the body that cannot synthesize compounds containing pyrimidine ring on their own, the additional intake of uridinemonophosphate (UMF) leads to an increased presence of important metabolically active uridine and cytidine phosphates. This is fundamental within the process of restoring peripheral nerve cells.
In general, the directed stimulation of neuronal metabolism by pyrimidine nucleotides increases the speed of nerve conduction, maintains and accelerates the physiological mechanisms for regeneration of the peripheral nervous system.

Vitamin B12 is important for cell division, blood-formation, epithelialization and regeneration. Participates in the synthesis of purine and pyrimidine bases, nucleic acids and proteins. Its involvement in the synthesis of myelin and DNA is essential for the functioning of the nervous system.

Folic acid in the body is a precursor to tetrahydrofolic acid (the conversion occurs only in the presence of vitamin B12), which is a coenzyme in numerous reactions, especially in the metabolism of proteins, nucleic acids and amino acids. It also plays a role in the biosynthesis of phospholipids, neurotransmitters and hemoglobin.

How should you take Celtic forte?
The recommended daily dose is one capsule daily between meals of a little liquid.
The duration of admission depends on your needs. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Celtic forte is well tolerated and for a longer period of time.
Celtic forte contains animal gelatin (pork / beef), which is part of the capsule shell. The capsules may be opened so that the capsules containing mini-tablets should be taken without the capsule shell.
Celtic forte is also suitable for diabetics.
