The correct brewing method for Pu'er tea needs to be adjusted according to the type of tea and personal taste,
The following are common methods and steps:

Basic brewing steps
Equipment: Purple clay teapot or lid bowl, paired with a fair cup and tea tasting cup.  ‌
Warmer: Rinse the tea set with boiling water to increase the temperature.  ‌

Tea infusion: 5-8 grams of tea leaves [1PCS], (loose tea can be reduced to 5 grams), to avoid excessive bitterness.  ‌

Moisturizing tea (washing tea): Quickly rinse with boiling water 1-2 times, complete within 5 seconds, awaken the tea leaves and remove impurities.  ‌

Brewing: The water temperature is 93-95 ℃, and water is poured along the edge of the pot. The first steeping takes 10-15 seconds to produce the soup, and each subsequent steeping increases by 5-10 seconds.  ‌

Tea distribution: Pour into a fair cup and evenly distribute into a tea tasting cup.  ‌

Special tea processing:
Ripe tea: After washing the tea, the first 15 seconds of steeping will produce the soup, and each subsequent steeping will increase by 5-10 seconds. The water temperature is around 95 ℃.  ‌

Old tea/coarse old tea: can be brewed using boiling method, releasing flavor at high temperature; Alternatively, the root retention method can be used to leave a portion of the tea soup for subsequent circulation and brewing.  ‌

matters needing attention:
Avoid prolonged soaking, which can lead to the precipitation of bitter substances.  ‌
Adjust the water temperature and time according to the tea age and fermentation degree. New tea can lower the water temperature, while old tea can increase it appropriately
