Seller's Description
New, old stock drive end bracket bush for Lucas model M418-G and M45-G starter motors.
These starter motors were introduced around 1937 and were in use well into the 1960s.
This bush is used on M418G motors with Service Numbers of: 255378, 255379, 255721, 255667, 255857, 255972, 255986, 255988, 25506, 25512, 25521, 25522, 25523, 25524, 25529, 25533, 25535, 25537, 25547, 25550, 25553, 25557 and on M45G motors with Service Numbers of: 270244, 270299, 270367, 270401, 270468, 270490, 270545, 270546, 270547, 270548, 26008, 26020, 26026, 26032, 26035, 26036, 26038, 26041, 26042, 26043, 26045, 26046, 26048, 26057, 26062, 26066, 26073, 26082, 26084, 26094, 26117, 26118, 26128, 26134, 26140 and 26164.
A genuine Lucas starter motor has its Service number stamped on the motor casing along with the general model (eg M45G) and type (eg L/0)
If your motor doesn't have one of the service numbers above then it probably uses a different bush. Check with me if unsure.
