THEY WERE BOUGHT YEARS AGO FROM A AUCTION THAT JUST LISTED THEM AS BLACK WASHERS.
I THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO BE RUBBER TAP WASHERS BUT THEY DONT FEEL RIGHT
TO SOFT AND FLEXIBLE BIT LIKE FELT SO MAYBE THEY ARE SPACERS FOR PC BOARDS OR FEET OR SOMETHING
I HAVE BIG BOX OF THEM

been told they are
these are 'acoustic washers' .
They get sandwiched between 2 surfaces like wall panels and metal posts speakers etc so vibration or sound doesn't travel through the surfaces so easily.
