These junction boxes are used in low voltage sytems such as burglar alarms but can be used for many other electrical projects. Ideal for branching off to connect additional detectors or contacts and for connecting multiple circuits etc. The built in spring tamper switch is connected to terminals 1 and 2 but can be disconnected if not needed.
