2006 PNC Limited Edition Football World Cup Stamps & Bobby Moore Medallion Cover
This is a 2006 limited edition medallion and stamp cover (PNC ?) issued by the UK Royal Mail and UK Royal Mint as shown. The medallion is housed in plastic and then in the cover and celebrates Bobby Moore OBE. The cover is date franked on the first day of the stamp issue which celebrates the Football World Cup "Bobby Moore OBE 1941-93 West Ham London E13 06.06.2006 My Captain My Leader My Right Handman - Alf Ramsey" The text on the medallion reads "Bobby Moore OBE" on the head side, the text on the back reads "30 July 1966 Wembley Stadium England 4 West Germany 2 1966 England 2006."
Cover size approx 220mm wide x 110mm
Condition as photos, light general handling and storage marks etc.
