Pack of twenty four superb printed colour fold-out double-sided postcards views of Sault Ste Marie in Michigan, USA. Views include Union Depot, ice-covered German Steamer, numerous Passenger Steamers, Locks, Whalebacks, Freighters, Tugboats, the International Bridge, Tourists and Indians in the Rapids, the Poe Lock, Blocked Navigation, Government Park and the Japanese Torri.
Published by Conway & Hall, Sault Ste Marie, made by Curt Teich & Co, Chicago, not numbered, images copyrighted between 1900 and 1909.
Postally used on 13 June 1916 with Sault Ste Marie machine cancel on red 2 cents stamp and sent to Mr Mason, Farley Hill, Swallowfield, near Reading, Berkshire, England, and with broken seal to state that the item has been "Opened By Censor" No 3403.
Very good condition, with typical wear to packet cover, though individual card views are excellent to near mint.
