Seller's Description
Condition: Antique prints in good condition
I have extracted these pictures from the depths of my loft today. My knowledge of how to describe them is very limited, I can only say what I see...
I think they are prints (lithographic prints maybe?), but for all I know, they could be original illustrations! I can't tell, and I do not want to damage the neat framing by cutting through the taping on the rear to examine them further.
They look like they were drawn in grey pencil. The paper or card that they are on, is lightly age-foxed, but I think this kind of adds to their charm.
They are taped into matching frames, behind glass or plastic - I can not tell which. The frames are 30 x 24cm, wooden, with gilt detailing. The edges of the frames do have one or two tiny chips, but are generally in good condition.
There are no titles on the images, but on the back of the frames is written, 'The Falcon Inn, High Wycombe' and 'Durham Cathedral'.
I do not know the age of these pictures. The only possible clue that I have is that they were in a box in which some of the items were from the 1930s.
