This pillow pattern is called "Granny's Trunk Pillow". The pattern can be adjusted, by following the instructions on the fabric, to fit either a 12" or 16" pillow. Instructions also state how to make one or two pillows using the Granny Motif and/or the coordinating print fabric included in this auction.
Suggestions for alternate and additional trim on your pillow are also printed in the instructions. The alternates (not included in this auction) include contrasting piping, gathered lace, and eyelet ruffles. Stitching lines on the fabric are an additional alternative for those who would wish the pillow to resemble quilted fabric.
We see additional possibilities for the Granny's Trunk Motif in using it as a table runner or placemats with napkins or even chair pillows with ties.
