Seller's Description
A controversial fixture - Rapid Vienna won the first leg 3-1. Celtic then won the 2nd leg at Parkhead by 3-0 and seemingly progressed to the Quarter Finals. However, a bottle had been thrown from the crowd in that second leg and although TV replays showed it didn't hit a Rapid player, they claimed it did and after an appeal to UEFA, they ordered that the 2nd leg would have to be replayed and at the neutral Old Trafford venue. Celtic lost this match 1-0 and Rapid progressed (they would go on to reach the final, where Everton would beat them)
The programme is in reasonable / good condition. has a vertical handling crease, small loss on top right hand corner cover, where it looks as though it has got stuck to inner page.
The ticket is in good with a couple of flattened vertical creases.
