1970’s era Airfix 00 scale Rocket – Parts Only - Partly Assembled and Painted

• Size: 9cm long x 3.5 cm wide x 6.5cm tall
• Weight 22g
• Condition: This model has been assembled and painted (though a better job could have been done) – however it has subsequently been accidentally broken over the years. Could be useful for a refurbisher, or as spare parts, though you might want to find ways of removing the paint. Some small parts may have gone missing, e.g. the driver and the fireman appear to lost a hand each in operating the machinery! It is doubtful how freely the wheels can be made to turn as these have broken off the axles and glued back on. Please check the images carefully to see what you would be getting if you decide to buy.
• Comments: Original Airfix plastic colour is yellow. The colour scheme used by Airfix looks different to the real life “Stephenson’s Rocket” in the Manchester Industrial Museum. No original bag exists, so a new one has been supplied. The instruction leaflet says “Part No. R,11” and has a red stripe on the front cover to the left of the title, but unfortunately has some blue biro pen drawings on both sides. Furthermore, the instructions appear to have been stapled in the past and a hole punched through for it to hang in a shop rack.
• If the buyer lives outside the UK then they are responsible for paying any customs duty or import tax.
• For returns the buyer must pay for the cost of repackaging and postage.
