Two rare Lucas Temporary Release Note Spare Parts Lists, TR119 (31st Aug.'56) for the 1956 Standard Vanguard Sportsman and TR160 (11th Apr.'57) for the 1957 Vanguard Saloon and Estate and 8hp/10hp.
Temporary Release Notes were issued mid year to identify electrical specification changes. The following years' CCE lists would include this information but for the model historians wanting to know about the timing of specification changes these are a must. They almost invariably got destroyed.
TR119, for the Vanguard Sportsman shows the Distributor, Lighting Units, Steering Column Control, Starter Motor (though no detailed component breakdown of this item,) Wiper System and other minor components. It is 3 pages of hand typed information.
TR160, for the Vanguard Saloon / Estate and 8 / 10, shows Lighting and Wiper System changes plus a correction to CCE902F. A double-sided single page.
