U.S. #1027 1953 3c
Issued to commemorate the 300th anniversary of New York City, U.S. #1027 pictures an artist’s representation of the town of New Amsterdam in the early days of settlement.
The stamp pictures a Dutch ship in the harbor with an outline of a modern New York City skyline in the background.
The stamp has not been used and is unhinged with original glue.
