1949-1950 Cadillac Clear Glass Reverse Backup Light OEM Rat Rod

Description

Condition: The part is in overall rough used condition. The chrome is very worn, faded, and pitted from age. However I think that look would be perfect for a rat rod. The clear glass lens is actually in excellent used condition. I don’t see a crack or chip on it. The back of the light has lots of surface rust on it. The light does have its plug and cloth-wrapped wire present, but their working condition is unknown.

Measurements: About 3” in total diameter x about 1-1/2” tall.

Other Information: Based on the style of the bezel, I think this light was specifically from a 1949-1950 Cadillac, though lots of GM cars from 1949-1953 used the lens. So you might be able to use this on one of those, but I am not certain. In the present condition this would be best for a rat rod build. It is an original GM part. Please inspect the photos and make sure this is the correct part that you need for your vehicle before purchasing.
