Seller's Description
1930’s Vintage T.F. SHURLY 700 Arrow Head Cross Cut Saw Jointer & Setting Block
Found while cleaning out the garage. There is some surface rust on the bottom plate of the Jointer and a small rip in the ad sheet.
No. 700 “Arrow Head” Cross Cut Jointer & Setting Block.
Manufactured in the early 1930’s these tools would have been used to shape crosscut saw blades. They look to be in new condition, but not a very good paint job as some of the screws are half painted. One of the bottom plates on the Jointer has quite a bit of surface rust. The ad sheet has a small rip (about 1-1/2 inches) on on of the folds and some edge wear (See pictures).
The original price on the box (from 90 years ago) is $2.00. (At least I think it was the original price).
In the Box:
Arrow Head Jointer
Setting Block

The company manufactured various saws and saw blades, as well as other metal products. They held numerous patents for saw design.
