1927 Player's Cigarettes Wild Animals' Heads (Transfers) The Fennec Good (2)

For sale is a 1927 Player’s Cigarettes, Wild Animals’ Heads (Transfers), Featuring the “Fennec” in Good (2) condition.

This set consists of 50 transfer cards.  Cards are not numbered.  The back side of the card provides detailed instructions on how to use or apply the transfer to a broad range of surfaces.

Pictures were used from the artwork of Arthur Wardle.  Set consists of only the head shot of animals; not to be confused with the set consisting of full body prints.

Side note:  This set was also released as an actual tobacco card set.

Very neat marketing gimmick from the time period.

The following discrepancies are noted:  Corners have been dinged; Light chipping / notches along borders; Moderate surface wear; Curve to the card / transfer most likely due to storage coupled with thin paper stock.  Discoloration on front and backside due to age / handling; Overall, card / transfer is in great shape.   

Pictures are of the actual card / transfer.

All multiple purchases will be combined.  The standard shipping method listed is generic / over priced.  Actual postage will be much cheaper depending on your preference.
