Seller's Description
This new, old stock brush set is for the following model Lucas starter motors:-
M418, M418L, M418S, M418SL, M418T, MO418S, MO418T, RM418S & RMO418S
Lucas numbered this set D24. The brush part of the assembly is the same as used on the later M418A starter motors - it is just the lead arrangement that is different. I suspect it's possible to use either early or later brush set on any of these motors if you are handy with a soldering iron, to add or remove the lead tags.
